that prowls far inland. They're tolerant of pure, fresh water, while also
living out in 100 feet of water offshore around rocks and reefs. Around
Gulf of Mexico platforms, they range from surface to bottom, nibbling on
hard growth. Sheepsheads feed on crustaceans only, mostly barnacles,
shrimp, crabs and young oysters. |
